Your business in a partner spot in our Tuesday edition, Hokkaido Today, and our Thursday edition, This Weekend in Hokkaido, clearly labeled with wording like "In partnership with" or "Promoted." Each edition is also published on the Hokkaido Today website, so your spot stays in the archive. You send us a logo, about 30 words and a link, and we handle the rest.

A guaranteed, highlighted spot in the Thursday weekend lineup, with a photo and a short write-up. Good for festivals, markets, concerts, openings and anything with a date on it.
FROM ¥30,000
An add-on for partners who want us to visit, photograph and write about their place. Josh is a professional photographer, and features are published in our Tuesday edition and on the website, clearly labeled as made in partnership with you. Ask us about availability and dates.
Community events can still be submitted for free by subscribers through our Submit Event page. Partner and promoted placements are always clearly labeled, so readers know the difference.
Founding rates. Partners who sign on now lock in early-adopter pricing for their full term, even as our list and rates grow.
Honest numbers. We'll tell you our current subscriber count and open rate when you ask, and share results after your placement runs. We'd rather be straight about being new than dress it up.
Written by people who care about the place. Hokkaido Today is run by Josh, a photographer, and Satomi, a native Japanese speaker, who are moving to Sapporo this December. We only feature businesses we'd be happy to send a friend to.

A logo (optional), a description of about 30 words in English, Japanese or both, and the link and button label you want (for example "Book a tour"). Please send it at least 5 days before your first send. If we haven't received it by then, we'll run a simple name-and-link block instead. Quarterly and Yearly partners can swap in fresh material once per quarter, and extra changes are ¥3,000 each. We don't design or write ads as part of a standard spot.

Yes, you're welcome to write to us in Japanese. Hokkaido Today is written in English for English-speaking residents and visitors, so your ad runs in English. We can include a Japanese translation alongside it, and Satomi checks the wording.
Yes. Subscribers can submit community events for free through our Submit Event page, and we include what fits our readers. A featured event guarantees your spot and adds a photo and write-up.
Hokkaido Todayは、北海道の暮らし・食・イベント・旅を、英語圏の住民や旅行者に向けて英語でお届けする創刊間もないニュースレターです。購読者数はまだ多くありませんが、創刊期にご参加いただく事業者さまには、早期割引料金と優先的な掲載枠をご用意しています。
広告枠：火曜版と木曜版のパートナー枠に掲載し、各号はウェブサイトにも公開されます。創刊価格（税込）は、1週間（計2回配信）10,000円、3か月（計26回）50,000円、1年（計104回）150,000円です。掲載素材として、ロゴ・30語程度の紹介文・リンクをお送りください。
